Thrive to spite them

My sister in law, Tracy Turpen, is a photographer specializing in weddings and fine art portraiture is doing a fund raiser for Haiti now through the end of February.

She's set up a gallery of her fine art photography, mostly landscapes of Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and Costa Rica and 100% of the money will be donated.

You can view her gallery here - [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have a lot of old (last couple years) Nat Geo, New Scientist, and Scientific American magazines that have to go. Anyone want them?

eta: And they're gone.

Hi everyone.

I joined after meeting several of you thru the wedding reception weekend here in LA. I am working on following the discussions... I think the key is to log in more often.... Forgive me if it's a lot of lurking and not so much posting for a bit here :)

And yes, I have many bunnies. They are cute and fuzzy and get into lots of trouble....

Herding cats for fun

Helllooo Buffistas, book lovers and Bay Areans. These are exciting times in Katieville:

I've put my art projects into the window at The Book Shop. It's really incredible for me to behold all this stuff unpacked at the same time. It'll be on display throughout February, so come on by, represent, support my local independent bookstore. Purty please?

Come on by for my Meet the Artist Party Saturday, February 13, 12-3 The Book Shop 1007 B Street at Main Hayward, CA 94541

Close to Hayward BART, plenty of free parking, right next door to the Bistro Cafe, so getting a bite will be easy.

Oh, and if you just want to see pictures?
