Hey everyone, I've just posted a preliminary logo option for the Buffistas F2F in Atlanta here. If you would like to voice an opinion, make suggestions, etc., please do so in the F2F thread. Thanks!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Hear ye! Hear ye! The Lightbulbs thread is open to discuss a proposal by Theodosia to add a new thread for the discussion of Heroes.

Discussion starts here:

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Time for my semi-annual posting:

Getting a nice tax refund? Not getting a refund at all? Consider giving to support the b.org!

As you all know, we're totally volunteer-supported, which means no monthly fees, but also means we each have to step up sometimes. No amount too small! (No amount too large, either, btw.)

Paypal to donations at buffistas dot org, or email for my address if you want to send a check.

Thanks!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

xposted from my blog...

I'm doing a reading from Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby? on Saturday March 10th at Raleigh Studios in LA.

Actually, I think I'm mostly just the opening band, as well I should be, since the headliner is the mighty Stevie Tuszynski and her wonderful documentary, In Real Life.

If you'd like to come, you need to RSVP because seating is limited.

To RSVP please send an e-mail to: IRLScreenings@gmail.com and put the letters "LA" in the subject line, as well as the number of people attending.

And it's a lovely way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BtVS...with us, the nutcases who built a family on and offline due to our common love of the little girl with the sharp stake, dontcha think?

What is even happening?

For those Buffistas who wandered here during the Bronze Diaspora...

(copied from tiggy's LJ)

Spread the word to lost Bronzers to meet at The Bronze Beta - Saturday March 10, 2007

Why? Because it's the official 10th anniversary of the original airdate for the show that brought us together. Should we research what various cast and crew have done and where they are now on? Should each Bronzer do a mini-bio update? Will kenickie hawk his graphic novels? Will Closet Buffyholic still be on the ledge studying for a bar exam? Will there be *sparkly tackle hugs*? Will fenric post his list at 4AM Pacific time(7AM EST, 12PM GMT)? Is there any room left on Flossie to celebrate this event? Will the Aquamarine Armband Posse make an appearance with their armbands and horsies up high? Will Cosmic Bob still have titles? Will Narrator still be oh so very WRONG(!)? Come find out and please, spread the word to lost Bronzers.

The Premiere of B-Movie Bastards!

If you are brave and feel like listening to some insanity, the first episode of a podcast that NoiseDesign is involved in is done and up. If you love b-movies, then this is for you. There are three hosts (including, "Evil Roommate," for those who remember him from ND's webcam days) talking about the movies that they love so much. The first episode covers Dead Alive and Return of the Living Dead.

The second episode is also up at this feed:

B-Movie Bastards

---

This podcast is a blast to listen to even if you're not a b-movie fan, in my opinion. They've got a great sense of humor and even do a little original podcast b-movie theatre in addition to their reviews. The first one had something to do with gay zombies on parade. Don't ask. But listen.

Compassionately intolerant

Howze this for silly?

A friend periodically casts me in his short films. Usually the ones involving political statements...and general goofiness.

In this one, I play a security consultant being quizzed about the Department of Education's hiring practices. I'm in the first and last scenes.

Did I mention the silliness?

Don't say I didn't warn you.
