NEW PLAN for meeting our beloved Stompy Jon B. tomorrow night:

Meeting around 7:30 (depending on what time Jon's done with the shoot) at El Cholo: 1121 S. Western Ave., LA, 90006.

I will plan to stay late on the West side until Jon is done and will bring him to the restaurant. I will post an updated ETA as soon as Jon contacts me tomorrow evening. Sound good?

Please RSVP to me if you think you may come (ktaylor9 AT mac DOT com) so that I can call ahead for a table.

Discussion/question etc. in F2F.

I put together a poll to get a rough idea how many people are coming to Atlanta, so that we can better decide where we're going to have the Prom.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

If you missed my post Aimée "Sunnydale Press" Jan 22, 2007 11:02:35 pm PST the first time around, I am doing a project for school on race in my community. I am doing it on my online community, since there are very few people I like IRL.

[link] Here is the LJ post with the survey questions if you would like to participate.

100% confidential. Nothing I learn will be repeated.

LAistas: A few of you have expressed interest in ordering Girl Scout cookies. I have my 7th grade study hall on Monday, during which I am *certain* a couple of my Girl Scouts would be more than happy to supply them for you.

If you want me to place an order for you, email me your name, address, and phone number along with your cookie order so I can give the girls your info on Monday. I will even collect the cookies when they come in and distribute them from my place (or deliver them, if you'd like).

Sorry out-of-towners...you'll have to find your own Girl Scouts!

Hey everyone, I've just posted a preliminary logo option for the Buffistas F2F in Atlanta here. If you would like to voice an opinion, make suggestions, etc., please do so in the F2F thread. Thanks!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Hear ye! Hear ye! The Lightbulbs thread is open to discuss a proposal by Theodosia to add a new thread for the discussion of Heroes.

Discussion starts here:

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Time for my semi-annual posting:

Getting a nice tax refund? Not getting a refund at all? Consider giving to support the b.org!

As you all know, we're totally volunteer-supported, which means no monthly fees, but also means we each have to step up sometimes. No amount too small! (No amount too large, either, btw.)

Paypal to donations at buffistas dot org, or email for my address if you want to send a check.

Thanks!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

xposted from my blog...

I'm doing a reading from Will the Vampire People Please Leave the Lobby? on Saturday March 10th at Raleigh Studios in LA.

Actually, I think I'm mostly just the opening band, as well I should be, since the headliner is the mighty Stevie Tuszynski and her wonderful documentary, In Real Life.

If you'd like to come, you need to RSVP because seating is limited.

To RSVP please send an e-mail to: IRLScreenings@gmail.com and put the letters "LA" in the subject line, as well as the number of people attending.

And it's a lovely way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BtVS...with us, the nutcases who built a family on and offline due to our common love of the little girl with the sharp stake, dontcha think?
