Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I went over to the main part of campus for lunch today, did not stop by the library as I usually do when I'm over that way to see flea (who I just now have learned wouldn't have been there anyway), got back to my office, and was promptly let go from my crappy temp job.

Any and all jobma would be both appreciated and helpful.

information libertarian

Very speedy drive-by to announce that Evelyn Claire was delivered at 3:53 pm on Thursday, weight 8 pounds even, 21.5 inches, piano player's hands like her daddy. Nutty is in e-possession of an adorable photo and I imagine would be willing to post it somewhere accessible (right, babe?) We are home and well and tired but happy - the usual! And now for the napping...

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Photo of my niece for the delectation of all. flea may deny it, but my automatic thought is how much Evelyn looks like baby pictures of her mother. Especially with the large, alert eyes.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

This was supposed to be a picture of Buffistina. Instead it was a source of mild frustration.

Now it is gone. Like my pie.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I'm a college student! Arrived Saturday morning, got my computer today, classes start later this week. I'm going to my first frat party tonight-- very exciting!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

To echo Holli, I am a college student!

I am luckily blessed with wonderful friends, and have resolved my term bill to the point that I'm staying in school for the semester. I've moved into my dorm, gotten my books, and am now waiting to start classes on Thursday. Thanks to everyone for the advice and support ya'll gave me this summer.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My grandmother passed away this morning.

It is a blessing and also very sad.

Probably be gray for a few days, maybe not... I'm sort of numb.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm back from Toronto!

I had a great trip! Did some siteseeing, met Halifax Buffistas, went to a fun(if disorganized) Worldcon....

Oh yeah, and I got engaged.
