Hello everybody!
Just a quick note to say that moving of Nora's stuff is complete and we are now officially cohabiting. Unless you are my landlord, in which case we are officially cohabiting as of September 1st!
Big huge thanks to DX, Ellen, Emily, Theodesia, Nutty and Jon B. for much lifting and carrying and vehicles and oh my! Everybody says "Hello", by the way.
The move went smoothly. The official doughnut of TomNoCoHab '03 is Krispy Kreme. The official pizza is Papa John's. The official truck belongs to DX.
In case you missed it the first time round, our cohabitation FAQ is at http://livinginsin.rainoftoads.com. One question has been added since the last time the link was posted.
That is all!
Durham Herald-Sun article about the play I'm in which opens this week. I'm quoted!
Burrell had her baby! Frances Lucy arrived yesterday at 6:00 PM.
I'm in DC now. All my stuff got here unbroken (thanks for the advice on how to pack the glass bookcases), and I'm mostly moved in. I'm having problems with my phone service, since the person who had the apartment before me didn't cancel his service, and so the phone company can't start mine, and I need to get in touch with the landlord to figure out what to do about this, so now I'm on AOL dial-up on the old tenant's phone service, which I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be doing, so I won't be online for too long. So pretty much hi, and I'll be greyish for a little while longer.
Probably going much darker grey than I have been recently, due to stuff.
Going dark for indefinite time - in airport now, heading out of country. Hope to get 'net access asap, but don't know how long it will take.
I'm going to be running in the NYC Race For The Cure on September 14th. If anyone would like to sponsor me, click here.
Hi everybody! We're home!
I wanted to thank everyone for Franny's warm welcome into the Buffistas! It means a lot to me.
We are all very happy and very tired. And I do mean all of us. I'm probably not going to have much time for posting as eveyone says this first week or so is by far the toughest, and so far we are proving the adage true. But it's also magical. She is beautiful (okay, so I'm biased? So sue me) and sweet, but she also has proven that she has the set of lungs on her that I suspected she'd have based on her parentage.
I will indeed post pics as soon I find a good spot to download them for people to see.
