And some -ma for my friend Becca, who many of you met, would be much appreciated. She is right now headed into surgery to remove the tumor in her neck. It's likely benign, but the surgery is going to be heavily influenced by how deep it's penetrated into her facial nerves. I am here at the hospital waiting for her since her family is all on the East Coast (and she IS family).

Shameless begging for anyone with clicks to spare. My Dude now gets paid 10 cents a click for every repeat visitor to his blog site at Forbes. He used to just get paid per visitor--and he did all right on his own. If you feel like visiting five times every single day from now on, that would be fabulous. Or, you know, once or twice a week. A request for some everything goes normal, plus easy recovery-ma for my dad, please. He's going in for (probably quadruple) bypass this morning. I'm not by nature a worrier, so I'm sure everything will be just fine. But having patented Buffista -ma behind it makes me that much surer. Thanks.
This could be nothing or it could be everything. Could I have some job~ma around 5:30 this evening? Best prospect in a long, long time. Please, and thank you.
The ~ma comes through as always. Dad came through his (triple) bypass surgery great. We're told his heart is strong, he should be moved from ICU to the regular floor sometime today, and anticipating a good recovery. Thanks, y'all!
Great news, epic!
Thanks for the -ma. It worked. Looks like I'm flying to NH for an interview. The job can be done from anywhere, as long as it's a reasonable distance from an airport.
Back with hat in hand for more ~ma, as I have a cousin currently undergoing treatment to remove spots of cancer on his liver. He's previously lost much of his sight to a brain tumor, so it'd be nice if life could let him have an easier time of things for a while. (Doctors are optimistic that the cancer hasn't spread beyond the spots they detected, so prognosis looks good.)
The aunt that I posted about last week got released from the hospital today, so all looks good on that front!
Aw, you guys are so nice! I just got the gift cert for me and my mom to get massages! We are excited, and grateful.
I'm putting together a really short leaflet for an action a local group is doing to support the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW), the tomato workers Union, in their campaign to get Wendy's to pay a penny a pound more for tomatoes and demand decent treatment for tomato workers from their suppliers. You can find out more about CIW at [link]
Anyway this leaflet is tough, cause it has to be short, it has to explain about the CIW and it has to ask people to be filmed for a short interview in support of CIW. I have a rough version and could really use some editing to make it shorter and more effective. It is not for me but for a really good cause. My profile addy is good.
Some health~ma would be appreciated for one of my cousins. She is the current matriarch of that side of the family. She had a heart attack less than 2 hours ago and is currently in transport from one hospital down to a hospital in Sacramento. They know she has a blood clot and that is about all the info I have. I'm not normally a praying person, but I'm sending as much ~ma as I can in her direction.
