May I get some it's nothing ~ma? I have an appointment today to go see a specialist about a tiny hole in my retina. It probably IS nothing, but I'll admit, I'm a little freaked out.
I had lasers shot into my right eye! Living the in future is awesome!
(I had three tiny holes and some lattice edging in my retina, so the doctor decided to take care of it right then. Lasers! In my eye!)
Thanks for the good wishes, folks!
I just found this out, and I am FURIOUS.
From my sister:
I thought I would share this info because when I first saw it I thought it wasn't real. -ALL # from your cell phone are now on FB! Top right of screen, click on ACCOUNT, click on EDIT FRIENDS, left side screen click CONTACTS. You'll see all # from your phone (FB friends or not) are published that are stored in your mobile phone. TO REMOVE, go to the right column, click on "this page." Repost this so your friends can remove their #
It's true -- I can see all phone numbers for my Facebook friends. This is....I am SO pissed and thisclose to deleting my account entirely.
What's next, my street addy and my bank account info?
Erin, sorry--that's another hoax. It only lists phone numbers if (a) your friend put it on fb (I have mine there) or (b) you have run a sync contacts on fb and your mobile phone.
The ~ma is working so far. My roommate got the job, the boards are over for better or worse (he won't know if he passed for 3 months), and I aced the first round. Second round interview was today - now I'm just nervous. I'll hear one way or another by COB tomorrow. Any job~ma you can spare would be appreciated!!
The mighty ~ma comes through!!! I GOT THE JOB AND START MONDAY.
I will be essentially dark from tomorrow through the 23rd as Gary and I travel to San Francisco and Reno.(I'll probably get to check my e-mail from time to time, but not much more than that)
We are taking the dog Kato to the vet early tomorrow morning because he has a lump about the size of a martini olive on his upper chest. It feels squishy and could very well be just a fatty tumor. But we're a little worried anyway. So any good, it's-nothing-but-fat thoughts are welcome for the pup.
Fortunately, Kato's lump is just a lipoma (benign fatty tumor). Whew!
