My wonderful, amazing Grandma appears to be, at long last, succumbing to the peaceful siren call of, well, you know. Death. She's had many close calls before, so no assumptions till the fat lady sings, but my mom seems to think that this is the end and will be coordinating with hospice care today to work out the best, um, transition situation.
Although she's 94 years old, and has been in full time nursing care since September, and has led a full, rich life full of friendship, love, and laughter, this really blows for her family who love her more than pretty much anyone else in the world ever.
So any vibes for a peaceful passing for Grandma and gentle grieving for all of us would be most appreciated, if you can spare them.
I'm recovering, but Aidan passed out on the playground today and was incoherent when he awoke. He's on his way to the emergency room and we'll know more whenever they get around to seeing him. More ~ma is requested, please.
Aidan's fine. They think he just had low blood sugar and needed a snack.
If anyone's interested, our photographer posted our "official" wedding pics today!

Things that have happened today:
- I found out that my school laptop, which I accidentally spilled wax (from a lit candle) onto last week has been declared a "total loss" and they are "working out details" about what that will mean. At the least, I will owe $100 deductible to the school. I may owe more.
- I got a notification that I have a meeting with the US and MS division directors tomorrow and they are being cagey about what they want to talk to me about.
- I found out that my dad has to have a minor heart procedure due to a blockage.
- I'm still sick with this neverending cold.
It's not been the best of days.
I is a married laydee. I is going to bed now.
In case anyone is interested in seeing me actually skate in a bout--I've got a clip of my very first bout up on flickr. I'm number #217. I take a couple of falls and a couple of hits but it's not a bad jam.
Two weeks ago, on my DH's birthday, I asked you all to help us get the word out about Sassafras.
Today is my daughter's 2nd birthday, and Sassafras is still missing. K asks for her, but fortunately doesn't worry about her.
Please help us again by contacting our local media in Washington, and reposting our plea from our blog.
