Thrive to spite them

It's truly official. I'm moving to Vermont mid-end of April. I've given notice at work, I've got an apartment. I'm going to be in the same state the man I love is in. I can't wait

“Not dead yet!”

Requesting some ~ma for my new book submission. It's out with six publishers right now and I'm really, REALLY hoping someone loves it. Like, a LOT.

“Not dead yet!”

FiL update: After exactly three weeks in the hospital, Dad was released today and better still, rather than being sent to a rehab facility, as had been previously considered, he was sent straight home! He's still going to have a few weeks and maybe even months before he's back to full strength, but of all possible outcomes, this was absolutely the best one!

Thanks so much for the ~ma, y'all. Much, much appreciated!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My friend T (who I posted about before, with her baby being born with CHD and having get stay in the NICU till he has open-heart surgery in 6 weeks) is being born today via C-section.

-ma, please, for Levi and family, that everything goes well, and that he won't present any of the other numerous complications they won't know about until after he's out.

Thanks!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Much ~ma to T, Levi and the family.

And now, dear all, I present you: Nilly's son.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Cutiehead Nilly-son! Congratulations!

Chicago-istas, dinner/drinks/whatever this Friday, April 1st. No fooling. F2F for discussion.

FYI, T and G's baby Levi was born this morning and weighs 8 lbs, 5 oz.

They are doing genetic tests, and are going to insert a cardiac catheter, but he's big and loud and things look as well as they can right now!

Thanks for the -ma!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am getting rid of my TiVo. It's a series 2, and works fine: I just never use it. There's a wifi receiver, and the subscription is just under $14 a month. I call it Rosie (because I name thing), and it's free to a good home. Profile email is good.

hip deep in pie

My dad is having a dye test tomorrow to try to determine what's going on with his heart that caused him to have a 'sode last weekend. Can we get some "Let this be nothing-ma?" Spent 12 hours at the hospital today, just hanging around, waiting. My dad is feeling good and is in good spirits, so we're hoping for the best.
