Health-ma would be appreciated for Drew. We are in the ER getting him checked out for severe abdominal pain.

He's having tests done now. The doctor suspects a gall bladder issue. We won't know how serious or what the treatment will be until after the ultrasound. Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Update: Drew will need to have his gall bladder removed, but not right away. Painkillers and low fat diet until then Relieved he's ok. 

For all of you frequent fliers out there in Buffistaland: are any of you American Airlines fliers? All of my (and boyfriend's) miles are on United, and we're looking for a nonstop out of Boston to London. United/Star Alliance doesn't do direct flights out of Boston, so we're looking to "trade" by having someone book an award flight for Steve on American, and he or I will do the same (on United) for you (at whatever point you'd need them).

It would be a huge favor. It's for my graduation ceremony.

(And I know you helpful folks will come up with other tips, but we're pretty set on what we need. We know what our paying options are for flights out of Boston, and we'd really rather use FF miles if possible).

Dear GOD, Ryan just gets cuter! How is that even possible?

A little Lack-of-Political-Unrest-ma would be very gratefully received; tomorrow the court case which has been ongoing since the Coup 3 years ago should reach its conclusion. (To decide whether all of the deposed prime minister's ill-gotten (?) gains can be legally siezed by the government, or should be his own personal property.) One side is going to be very pissed off, whatever the ruling ends up being - there were some demonstrations last week, lots of armed police about, but they were fairly minor. Hopefully it will all be peaceful and chilled and Buddhist and not big and scary, but we're all kind of nervous about how things might unfold. A little -ma would be appreciated.

Some of the patented ~ma would be much appreciated right now. We potentially have an offer coming in on the Florida house and OMG, would this be just fantastic, so please, lots of thinky good thoughts that it all goes through smoothly.

I just heard that J and I will be on Hammer Heads, our most fave HGTV show. They will be here in April and redo our front yard! First we celebrate, then we diet.

My Dad leaves tomorrow for Herat on a 18-week stint with Sheladia Associates as part of a water resources management and development program. Some safety~ma and success~ma would be welcome.
