Now tagless for your comfort.

Liv came through awesomely, after professing her love to her dentist. She's asleep on the couch now and will have chocolate pudding when she wakes up. Thanks for the ~ma.

I have two big pieces of news...

1. I got married Saturday night! We dressed as a ghostly couple, I carried black roses wrapped in spiderwebs, and the rings were carried in a skull. Was much fun!

2. Its a girl!!! We had our ultrasound today. She is beautiful (yes, I'm biased) and is developing perfectly for 18 weeks. I got some amazing 4D ultrasound pics that I cannot stop staring at.

My new husband is here from Belgium, so it will be a few more days before I have time to really catch up with you all, but I wanted to let you know the big news!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Hey all. I think it's time for my now-annually-Christmas-announcement/reminder to Buffistas with religious affiliates. Stompies, if this should belong in Press (since I do plan this to continue as long as I am a part of this community), let me know and I'll repost it there.

For those of you who don't know: I live very close to Jerusalem, Israel, and spend most of my time in it. And I know this board has religious people on it, or people with religious families and friends.

So if any of you of any faith would like something from here - the Old City, or anywhere else - for Christmas or any other occasion, it's really easy for me to get it and send it overseas. In fact, I'd LOVE to do this for you, given enough guidance and information (I am and was raised Jewish, and pretty much everything I know about Christianity came from popular culture TV). I'm even OK with rubbing objects against graves/approximated graves/holy locations, if that what turns you on.

Profile addy is good, and again - it's not a hassle. In fact, it's the opposite of it. After the support and love this board showed towards me in the past few months, it feels like the least I could do.

Happy holidays!

Our wings are not tired.

Some of you know that I work for a little biotech and almost killed myself last summer getting in our company's application for marketed product.

I am thrilled to announce that our our drug for Shingles-related pain got approved!!!

We're now approved for U.S. and Europe/UK which isn't bad for a company with fewer than 50 employees!

Now I have to go drink lots of champagne with my colleagues.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

May I request some health~ma for a coworker. He had a heart attack a week ago Saturday, had open-heart surgery on Thursday and all seemed well until sometime Friday morning when he was found to be in a coma.

Noone is quite sure what happened but it may involve brain swelling and a neurologist is supposed to see him tomorrow.

I haven't worked there long, but he is a vital part of the office and well loved. His nephew works in my department and it is hard watching him cope with this.

So, any goodness you can send his way would be very much appreciated.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Easy passing~ma, please, for my friend's mother. She is approaching the end stages of brain cancer. The burden of managing her mother's care and finances has fallen heavily on my friend, and she's been trying to balance those responsibilities with her job (she's also my supervisor, and has met some Buffistas).

Thank you.

I intended to delurk more before posting here, but... Please, if ya'll could offer some of the patented general peace&tranquility ~ma mixed with whopping doses of luck and health ~ma to my dad and mom, it would be much appreciated. Dad was diagnosed with cancer last week and they're evaluating whether to try chemo or not. I'm not able to keep up with the other threads much these days, so forgive me if I don't respond right away to any offered comments. Many thanks.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A bit of health~ma for my mother, please. Seems she's been in the hospital with congestive heart failure for two days (and, yes, I just found out).
