Birth, death, illness, new job, vacation...if it's happening to you and you want us to know about it, post it here. These threads are intended for announcements only. Want to offer sympathy or congratulations, or talk about anything? Take it to Natter. Any natter here will be deleted.
Vibing all my no cancer-ma Burrellwards, stat!
Meanwhile, on a totally trivial and self-indulgent (but somewhat freaked out) note, I'd be
very
grateful for any FindTheNotebookContainingScribblingsOfNC17SPNFic-ma that you could possibly send my way, as I seem to have misplaced said item. And it would be highly unfortunate were it to be read by my colleagues, employers, or indeed
any small children.
Which, given my job, is not inconceivable.

Kalliope -- not Shazam, or Zoom -- and I are doing well and will get to go home from the hospital tomorrow. Many thanks for all your good wishes. I look forward to catching up with everyone here and posting some pictures, soon.
My family is awesome.
Yay! The doctor just called me to say that the results are good. I'm cancer-free.
Thanks for all your good thoughts.
Anyone in the Bay Area who would be interested in seeing "You, Nero" at the Berkeley Rep tonight (Saturday) for free, please email me at my profile addy.
Hope this isn't natter, and I wish I was in bay area to watch. I worked on the workshop for "You, Nero" and Amy Freed is one of my fav playwrights. I **HIGHLY** recommend it!
I'm hesitant to post this, but since there might be some crossover from long ago: I just learned that Terri Lynn, a poster from Tabletalk days, maybe on Buffy threads, maybe not, has gone into inpatient hospice care.
As a followup, I read tonight Terri-Lynn died this evening. Holding her and her son, Liam, in the light.
I have accomplished a major life change. I bought a house today!!!
It doesn't have a nerd hole, but it does have a lot of room for gardening, and that makes me happy.

Now for the moving part. Any spare -ma would be appreciated.
Of all the nights to go to bed without checking the board! I can't believe I have to get up and go to graduation now!
Thank you, everyone, for your love and enthusiastic seconds and for the first time I've ever truly enjoyed b'crxy and lightbulbs. I know the wait was killing you, but seeing all the joy and anticipation meant so much this morning.
Drew, I love you. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life as your wife. Yes!
