Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Dad's recovery seems to have stalled, well below the healthy stage. If people could spare some continued recovery~ma, please, I'd appreciate it.

“Not dead yet!”

Well, going in for a uterine biopsy today-- it's mostly a precaution before deciding what options to take WRT the fibroids. Some ~ma that everything comes out clear will be appreciated.

ETA: Releases ~ma-- procedure went as well as could be expected. I'm uncomfortable, but I'll live.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Today is the year anniversary of the passing of my FiL, Jack. Please keep my DW and MiL in your thoughts.

I'm going dark until the end of my test season - 22/3, approximately. I'll still be available via email.

Thrive to spite them

I need some ma for my Grandma E. After lunch she told my aunt "I don't feel good" and then laid her head down on the table and passed out. she's at the hospital in the ER they ruled out heart attack based on her EKG.

This is the same side of the family as my cousin who died last June. His mother is the aunt who was with Grandma E and they live together. My family really can't take another loss right now.

My dad died this morning. Thank you all for your support during the time leading up to this. I'm afraid I have limited time at my computer for the next several days, so I won't be up to answering posts or emails for a while.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Healing- and dealing-ma, please, for a little boy who I taught last year. (This year I'm teaching his year group, but not his class.) He is eight, and one of the most AWESOME kids, very kind and sunny and sensible and hardworking and just altogether great - one of those kids who gets on with everyone, and is always helpful and mature and fun and just fab. His little sister is six, and sounds to be cut from the same cloth.

At the weekend, out of the blue, their dad died. Today they are at school.
