You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Ann, that's a ferret.

And if there's any left by early afternoon, I'd like some for Teddy. He's undergoing an endoscopy.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Wheeee! FABULOUS news, Jilli! Brava!

Meanwhile, just a quickie to reassure people (lest they worry) that although, yes, there have apparently been several explosions in the main airport in Bangkok, and it has been closed, and it's all looking a little hairy, so far everything in town seems fine and I'm still at work. So although the news reports apparently are a bit worrisome, from the ground things are presently business as usual.

(Although I'm a trifle nervous about our trip to the Peninsula Hotel with the school choir this evening. But afaik there haven't been attacks on big swanky hotels at this stage in the game.)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

FAQ Wife & I visited the Zmayhems last weekend and took some photos of Matilda Zmayhem at Circus School. There's a video in there, too.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

If you all could spare a thought for my sister and her family we'd really appreciate it. Her seven month old son Brody has been taken to hospital with a brain aneurysm. He'd stopped breathing, and is currently on a ventilator. The prognosis isn't looking hopeful right now.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My FiL just called. MiL had an MRI this morning and it appears she has suffered a mild stroke. They're heading back to the hospital to see a neurologist and a vascular specialist.

She's awake and feeling ok but a little bit of ~ma would be appreciated.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm experimenting with twitter so if you (as in buffistas or facebook or lj people, because I don't have enough electronic playgrounds) get added, it's me. I'm not terribly sneaky using my name and all. eta: If I don't find you, feel free to add me through my profile addy.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Please to send jobma my way.

I have one more hurdle to jump for the dream job.

Funding has been approved for me, and I'm the only qualified applicant. Still, have one more approval to get before I know for sure. 95% certainty. That five percent scares me.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks for the ~ma. MiL went home this evening with a new asprin-a-day regimen and minimal damage from her mild stroke.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This week I got my certificate and final transcript... and also the course I was auditing finished and I just now received final word that I'm not allowed to audit more in a year after graduation. So I guess I'm sorta kinda moving on to the world of job-seeking and then job-having, instead of clinging by my fingernails to the Fun That Is School Goddamit.

Anybody want to hire a Web Developer/Designer?
