Thrive to spite them

Tomorrow is my big Return to School. I'm rather nervous. I'm going into the legal secretary program at the votech school. Which feels like an underwhelming announcement after all the cool colleges that other Buffistas are attending or have been accepted to, but I'm very excited.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I just finished telling my bosses that the job isn't working out for me. It went pretty well. We haven't set a definite end date, and one of them suggested that I keep it while they look for a replacement and I go ahead and look for a new job. I think I might go that route--it should give me another month or so at my present salary, which is higher than I could hope to make temping.

I may have to seize the cat.

I'm going dark.

I need to live not in front of my computer.

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Going dark for a while.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Going very dim for a couple of weeks. e-mail if you need to get in touch.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My car needs its own hanky code.

Was rear-ended twice in the last three days.

Once with me driving (tonight), once with Paul driving (not tonight). I'm okay, except for some scraped bumper bits, car's okay. Just a wee bit rattled, is all.

OK - going dark for a few days while I'm off to the interview. Will post again Thursday or Friday. Wish me good Buffista jobma, one more time.

Thanks

Gar

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

In the "Yay! Career!" or "What the hell am I doing?" department:

I just got asked to direct "Bus Stop" for another theater. This makes three shows that I'm opening in the first half of the year, "Parallel Lives" and "Jeffrey" being the other two. Only problem is, "Bus Stop" opens very close to the F2F. I'll make it work, though.
