I had an interview and I think it went well. So I'd like some 2nd interview ma.

Keeping with the job~ma theme. I'm supposed to get my offer letter today/tomorrow. Some patience~ma and good-letter~ma would be appreciated.

Just to add to the job news - good, if scary for DH.

DH has worked for company T - they got bought by big company C - and then G, a vc , bought company C. ( g is a decent Venture capital firm - they buy companies to build them , not strip them) On Friday G decided that Matt should be head of IT for all of C, not just T. Now, Matt has been looking in this direction - so he is pleased. And terrified. I know he can do this job. If you have met Matt, you know he can do this job.

What I'd like for him is a little calm ma~~, serenity ma~~ and maybe some extra clear thinking ma~~. and since he'll be taking on the persona of road boy again - a touch of travel isn't quite as bad as I remember it ma~~.

Oh, my people! Please everything~ma me, for lo, I am terrified! If all goes well, tomorrow will be the county's final inspection of our new house. If we get our certificate of occupancy, hopefully without anything to fix, we'll be able to move in over the weekend. (Not that we can, actually, since the duplex is not packed yet.)

Please send ~ma for no last-minute disasters, a smooth and unproblematic final inspection by the county and then hopefully the bank, and a favorable final loan package. A good last day of house-building work, and a smooth move with minimal ruffled tempers and breakage.

And for, you know, a good and happy life together for the SO & I (and Seabiscuit!) in our new home! Thanks for hanging in with us through this exciting and scary process!

Give us about a month or so to get settled in and everything working, but we're giving a big party. The SO has already invited everyone on this mountain, so I don't see why I can't invite you. If you can make the trip, I can put you up! We have ponderosa pines and the Painted Desert! Come see me!

There's a background check and I won't feel secure until the paperwork is complete. But I got the job!
