The procedure was postponed, again, so we could get more detailed films, and judging from them, determine if we really need to go there. Yeah, we really do need to go there. So it's on for Thursday.
Thanks for the ~ma through all this, guys. And maybe on Thursday, back it off just a little? I'd like to get all the way through it this time, and have it behind me. Thanks!

Better late than never...I have, and will continue to be dark-grey for the next while. My Net at home is down, and it's Back-to-School at work, so...
Also, RIP for Pepper, my sweet little Scottie dog, who died yesterday at 7 years old. She was in pain and not getting better and suffered brain damage and didn't know mom and dad. They did everything they could for three horrible weeks, but they let her go yesterday.
She was a GOOD little dog, who helped three little kids get over their fear of dogs by just being her own friendly self, and I will miss her.
Geneva Elise Barrett Childs, born 5:35 this am, 8 lbs 1 oz. My wife was in labor about 4.5 hours, and when her water broke, Geneva was born ~30 seconds later, with no one in the room but me and a very surprised nurse who'd just arrived. I caught her in my arms as she was born, and that was one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
More good news and a release of the ~ma back into the pool, may it recharge and grow strong.

If I can request just a little sliver of insurance-ma so that my ex-company's HR department can reinstate my COBRA coverage, I'd be so grateful....
I'm releasing the job~ma. I talked to Disney yesterday and I will be doing the sound design for a new show on the Disney Wonder. I'll be signing the contract in about a week.
