I will be dark - no computer at all - until Monday.
That surgery that Grace had six weeks ago? Noah needs the same surgery now. If the scheduling gods agree, it will be tomorrow Wednesday afternoon some time. Well wishes much appreciated.
Announcement: I'm baa-aackk. Mallory and I have arrived in the US, I've started my new job, and we are acclimatizing.
Analysis: I need rental~ma to find a place to live before we both go nuts in temp housing.
I will be back home in CT from July 11-24, and ND will be joining me for part of that time. No idea yet when I'll be free and when I'll be busy, but I'd like to meet up with NYC folks and Boston folks at some point. I'll be emailing once I have more of a clue.

Please some job~ma for me. The organic clothing company I just interviewed for is awesome and I really, really want it so very badly. I'll send organic socks to everyone!!
Kitty~ma would be appreciated.
I came home tonight to find my kitty, Senor Sock, acting as if he was paralyzed. The vet emergency people said to bring him in immediately. Turns out he's diabetic. (He's almost 11 so my guess is it's an old cat thing.) They've got him on insulin and an IV - he's in an incubator because his body temperature was low.
He might be able to come home tomorrow (Sat.).
So... Senor is still not doing better. They gave him one insulin injection last night and his blood glucose went to normal and stayed there. So there's something else going on. He's extremely lethargic - he just won't move at all, his temperature is still low and he's not eating. One small bit of improvement is when people come to see him and touch him, he stretches. Which he wasn't doing last night.
