Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I know some of us love cats and some of us don't, if there is anyone in the Indiana area looking for a cat or cats, a poster from the kittypix LiveJournal community is being forced to move very quickly and give up her cats. She is the owner who hand raised Runty McRunterson, who I believe has been linked to here.

If anyone is looking for a cat, the thread where you can post is here:

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Am without power, so I'll be dark grey until it returns. (I'm hitting internet cafes for news updates, you see.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

If anyone's got some extra ~ma lying around, could you please send it in the direction of my sister and cousin? They were in a serious car accident early Sunday morning. His car is totaled, he's still in the hospital, and my sister needs surgery on her hand. The police and EMS said it's a miracle they weren't killed. It was car versus bridge retaining wall so no one else was involved.

A little no-breakdown~ma for me as well, please. I'm so very tired of this.

Hopefully this is the last bit of ~ma I will be requesting for a long, long while.

My sister goes in for surgery to repair her finger tomorrow at 11 am EST. Please send whatever you've got left her way. Thanks so much from all of us.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's official! I am leaving The Office behind and going to a new place that by all indications is not populated entirely by soul-sucking crazy people.

Releasing the jobma into the wild is such a good feeling.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'll be dark for the next few days as I go to visit my parents.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

hi all! just wanted to let ya'll know that, despite fog and crazy cabdrivers and wacky no-room-at-the-inn hijinks (sadly appropriate for the season!) fay and I have both arrived safely from our various locales to london.

(eragorn was very, *very* amusing, and sushi saves sanity.)

merry chrismakwanzikkuh!
