I'll be in town Sunday, June 18th to Thursday, June 22d. Sunday and Monday are free, and Tuesday/Wednesday evening currently are free, but that is subject to change.

I just found out , that a friend of Matt and mine - a high school student - just had a second bout of meningitis. At this moment in time , he is paralized from the neck down. B is an amazing kid. his father is ia single dad with two sons. B has been the family chef for years. He is a very good cook and a musician. ma please
Northeastistas...I will be in CT from June 20th-28th. I have pretty intense family obligations but can probably sneak away for a day sometime in that window--probably towards the end of that week. Of course I have forces pulling me in two directions...New York and Boston. What to do! Any way we could meet somewhere in the middle?

My mother's mother suddenly passed away this morning. My family's relationship with her was strained, but I'm sure it must be hard for my mom nonetheless. Any ~ma for my mom would be appreciated.
DC-istas! amyth and I are coming up for July 4th weekend. We're planning to drive up Friday night and leave Tuesday. We're going to the Smithsonian Folklife Festival to see Corb Lund at 3:00 Sunday and 4:00 Monday.
Maybe get together Saturday or Saturday night? Anyone who's gonna be around, come over to the f2f thread or gimme a holler at my profile addy.

I went from gray to black without really meaning to. I've been busy with the new job and trying to resist the temptation of netting during work. It's so daunting trying to catch up with all the posts when I get home that I haven't been doing it. Hope to be more active again in a while. (Didja miss me?)
Anyway, my biggest gig yet (from a venue perspective) is tonight. I'm part of Uke-y Stardust and we're playing the Fillmore Lounge during The Fiery Furnaces show tonight. We go on at 8pm and play for an hour before Man Man hit the main stage. Then we play for 45 min. between Man Man and The Fiery Furnaces. If you happen to be at the show, say hi. I'll be wearing my Wonder Woman corset so I won't be hard to spot.
