oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I just visted a friend, who fell off a ladder. Once again , the consequences are that he isn't going to be moving much for a number of weeks and recovery will be long and slow. Yes, Bruce could use some ma~~. But what I would really like to do is remind people that ladders are dangerous. honestly, all it takes is a second of not paying attention. If you are on a ladder, please be safe.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I'm so grateful to you all for your generous hearts.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have posted a request for beta testers (parents or soon to be parents) on my LJ. This is a work thing. My LJ user name is msbelle also.

In addition, if there are parents whose children play softball, baseball, soccer, or football - and who would be willing to be a feedback person for me on my work stuff, please email me.

Thanks.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I am booked to headline “Crooners & Songbirds” at Wilde Oscar’s in SF on Thursday, April 13. I was looking forward to this boffo gig accompanied by “Mr. Swell” himself, Tony Marcus. Unfortunately, Wilde Oscar’s has been sold and the new owners are making rumblings that they might not honor prior commitments. Nothing's settled yet, but I wanted to give you a heads up. If you have suggestions of alternate venues we could book at for the same night, please let me know via email to my profile addy. I will post updated news as soon as I have it.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

My 100+ year old church just burned down early this morning. As far as I can tell, there's nothing left except some stuff from the AA group that met in our undercroft that blew out the window. A house next door was also also completely destroyed, but there were thankfully no injuries. The artistic community were heavy users of our church building and one local theater group stored all of their equipment, stage, costumes, etc., lovingingly created over many years, there. Strength, courage and unity ~ma for the church, artists and the whole community would be greatly appreciated.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Just got home safe and sound from the trip to Michigan and found an e-mail waiting. My aunt passed away this afternoon. Could I get some peace- and serenity~ma for my aunt's family? Thanks, all.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Just now as I was sitting here, I realized that today marks my second Buffistaversary.

To say that being a member of this board has changed my life is a vast understatement. Thank you for being my people.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good news, in a cruddy-sounding way: My mother has finally left that thing she was married to. Whole family are pitching in to help her out. ~ma appreciated in finding her a new apartment, and the legalities and finances of disentangling herself from him.

ETA: Stepfather not natural father, in case that was unclear.
