Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Scott is apparently going to recover. He's still on a respirator but he recognizes everyone and is fairly lucid.

Hopefully, he will be off the respirator by tonight. There may be some memory loss, but other than that, he seems to be ok.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Are you ready to be strong?

I just had surgery on my hip yesterday and will be pretty much immobile for the next few weeks. So anyone who want to email me, go ahead; I'll welcome it in my boredom. I know this is probably not an ITACMB-level emergency, but I'm feeing sorry for myself and am inclined to exaggerrate.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Hmmm, something big is happening this weekend....Serenity opens on Friday! Oh, and I'm getting married on Saturday. I'll be dark gray for the rest of the week and black until October 14. See you when I'm an old married woman!

Aiiieeee! I'm sick to my stomach and excited as hell at the same time. Good thoughts would be very much appreciated starting at 2 pm EDT Saturday.

could i have some belated job-ma? I interviewed for essentially my current job on Monday and some trouble has occurred due to government stupidity (I know, I know - should I really be surprised?). Thanks.

We have a friend who works in the East Bay SPCA. A few weeks ago they took in animals rescued from Katrina. They are currently providing Vet care and fostering and the pets are listed in Petfinder.com. They've had three matches so far and the stories they have are pretty amazing. If you'd care to donate or just to read about the animals (and the oh so cute beagles are my fave), you can at East Bay SPCA.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Buffistas rock like a room full of chairs trying to scare a cat.

Perkins, Nicole, SailAweigh, Beverly, and Katerina Bee came by yesterday with a veritable cornucopia of wonders. I am overwhelmed.

Thank you all so very much. I am touched beyond belief by your kindness and generosity.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Wandering out from the Dark and Lurky place I've been hanging in the last several weeks to request some job slash knowing-the-best-path-ma. I have an interview tomorrow for a job that would be the same field, but looks like more responsibility (therefore, more money to my way of thinking...). I've been increasingly frustrated at my current position because of the lack of use my skills are getting. I've told friends I worried my brain would atrophy, and that the only good thing was the spare time to spend online - then that was lost to even more mindless administrative crap (filing, data entry, scanning sheaves of paper). I tend to fear and resist change, but this one, on the face of it at least, looks good.

So, job-ma, and wisdom-ma, at about 3:30pm board time on Tuesday would be highly appreciated.
