I know I've been a pretty hardcore lurker, but I had been reading regularly. But now, I've pretty much faded to black due to workload and other life pressures. I'm not deleting my account in case things change to let me participate more than I used to, though.

It's here! 5 countries in 11 days! I'll be going a nice shade of charcoal until the 25th, but may try to check in if internet cafes are plentiful like people say. Will return with many vacation pictures.

So, the Haunted Ballad Series - Ringan, Penny et al - is adding a fourth member to the existing family: St. Martins just bought the fourth book. Working title is "Cruel Sister" - that may change, because of Stupid Publishing Tricks #3,765,902 - due out in fall 2006.

As promised, photos from a Fangurl @ ComicCon 2004 have been uploaded here. I'm still trying to figure out the site's organizing functions, but the pics are viewable, at least (unless I screwed up the privacy settings... crosses fingers)
eta: And the photo titles all use character names rather than actor names, which I know is lame, but I forgot a couple of actor names (I know Groo was Mark...Something, etc.) And I'm a pedant for consistency.

I know I have been very dark, but I just wanted to let everyone know that I have just given notice at my job and I will be transferring to a new, wonderful job with great people in the nursing center at the University. I have to work out three weeks notice, and this could be hell, but, still a good move for me!
