Lo, these many weeks ago, I mentioned that I might be going to Seattle and Salem, OR. It looks like this is finally actually happening. My dad had to be taken to the emergency room last night for abdominal pains and was sent home at 4:30 am on sedatives/painkillers. The tests for serious stuff all came back clear, so the doctor thinks it's probably either a pre-ulceric condition or gastritis. (Dad's high-risk for the latter between having acid reflux and taking aspirin daily.) He hadn't woken for the day as of the last update , so we don't yet know if the pain is continuing today. Any good health-ma would be greatly appreciated.
