I am home with my beautiful baby girl. She appears perfect to me in every way. Plus, at the moment, she is sleeping, so that helps.
Anyway, I marked all the posts that I missed and will catch up sometime soon. Thanks for all your well wishes and support.
Ellie is doing great - more awake last night/today and starting to get the hang of the nursing thing. I'm doing well too. I feel a bit worn out (physically) but I've never felt so good in my life on so little sleep. Everyone keeps telling me I'm doing great, so I just believe them. I plan to write up more details later and will probably post in my LJ.
Oh, and Joe is currently on a flight from Germany and should land here this afternoon.
I've been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. Would anyone know of a source where I could find a CPAP machine fairly cheaply? eBay is hoping for $400+ for the few available, and I'm hoping for a better deal somewhere.
I would suggest borrowing (renting) one from the sleep center first, to see if it works for you. I have apnea, too, but couldn't ever seem to keep the damn thing on at night, so I ended up just getting the surgery.
Could I borrow some jobma from tomorrow morning through Thursday noon? I've gone a little insane and have five interviews this week, and ... well, I only need one job, but I would like to get that.
Yikes. We've had two firings in the last two work days. Calm 'ma would be appreciated until I figure out what the hell's going on.
Okay you guys overdid the ma just a little bit. The bad news is, I don't get to make my jury trial debut.
The good news is the other side caved and agreed to settle the suit for exactly the amount my client had offered from the beginning. Zero.

And yet, I'm a little disappointed.
The most beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived at our house yesterday. Thank you so much. Buffistas are truly wonderful and generous people. I felt very loved yesterday looking at this huge vase of flowers.
Also, Joe made it home last night and he and his daughter are in love.
