I wonder, could I trouble any of you for some Job-ma? Because I so, so, SO want to get a new job in this town. I can stay with this job next year, but it's a soul-destroying prospect because my boss makes The Mayor look honest, fair minded and humane. And yet I really would like to stay here for another year or so. I'm open minded, though - if the right job comes along and it's in China or Japan or Hungary or wherever, so be it. So I'm requesting some generalised Job-ma, and some Everything-Turning-Out-For-The-Best-Ma, if there's any spare.
...there is always the possibility that my boss will ascend at the end of term, and thus save us all the bother. But I'm hoping not.
