I'm off to talk to the folks about Project Managing some big A/V installs. 10 AM is when I meet with them, so any spare ~ma floating around is much appreciated.

Interview-ma needed, stat!
If jomba vibes could be directed NYC-ward around 6 pm this afternoon, I'd greatly appreciate it. Must. Get. Out. Of. Temping. Rut!
If y'all could direct the patented Buffistas health~ma toward Tennessee, it would be greatly appreciated.
I got a call from my mom this morning. My dad had a stroke last night. Severe enough that the amublance called for the Air-Vac to take him to the nearest hospital. The good news is that he's completely alert and can answer questions easily and is still being a smart-ass to the nurses. But, his left side is completely numb.
Thanks.
I got a call from Gary(my fiance) this afternoon, that his dad had a mild heart attack and was in the hospital. He had angioplasty done and is feeling better now. Supposedly he will be able to go home tomorrow or Saturday. If you can spare a little healthma, that would be appreciated.
Nic got the job!!
~ma released back onto the jobma aether.
Actually, an update on Nic/job sitch:
The company has offered, we've accepted. He can start as soon as the agency (not the company) finishes their "background check", which apparently takes a few days.
Since we really really really really need this job, and since the words "background check" bring up all sorts of McCarthy/Stalin era images, a little good-vibeage for no complications would be highly appreciated.
Raquel, when you have a chance, contact me. Important. Sorta.
If there's any spare health-ma lying around, I could use some for a friend of mine who hurt her neck skiing over Easter weekend, cause it's been acting up in a bad way recently, and this is her away message: "it's getting worse. Might need a hospital visit this weekend. pray for me and my spinal cord." Thanks.
A little USA-trip update:
I have an interview scheduled at the USA embassy, regarding my visa application, on the 12th of July. I can't make any definite plans until my visa application is approved, but I would like to start making vague plans and find out when/where people are going to be, in order to try and solidify those plans (but, again, nothing final until after the visa goes through!). The Bureaucratic advise was to discuss this in the F2F thread, so that's where I'm headed, and that's probably where the discussion will take place.
"See" you there, and see you, without any quotation marks, hopefully, soon.
Hello to all, with hugs and regrets for my absence.
I'm dropping in to announce that issue one of The Dogtown Review (with thanks to Hec for inspiring the name) is available! This fiction zine includes stories by Gayle Brandeis, Keith Demanche, Rita Oakes, Carrie Vaughn and the lovely and talented Deborah Grabien! If you'd like to order a copy (at the low, low price of $3, plus $1 for shipping and handling if you're in the U.S.), PayPal is being accepted at my profile addy. If you'd like to make fun of the HTML on my website, do it where I can't hear you. I can't even tell you how web-page illiterate I am . . .
