This is a time of celebration, so sit still and be quiet.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Because I am a thorough-going screwup:

Perkins, for some reason your phone numbers have like an insubstantial pageant faded from my frellin' e-ddress book.

If you see this before tomorrow morning, around nine, can you please ping me on my cell? Or, Nic on his? Or, email me with your numbers again (I am a dimwit)?

Making plans for Buffista fooding at Taxco needs to ensue.

edit: and will be darkish until Thursday, being in LA and not at home.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Someone forwarded me a job announcement for a community relations director for a Northern California center for troubled youth. Job requires non-profit experience, event planning, success in community relations, bachelor's degree, familiarity with MS Office and fundraising, excellent communications skills. Salary range is $60K.

If you're interested, profile address is good and I'll forward.

If I only had a brain...

Hooray! The unspecified -ma I asked for a few weeks was actually jobma for my husband. He signed the job offer last week. Thank you all for the good wishes, and I'm releasing the -ma back into the wild with praise for a job well done.

Howdy - I have not been around a lot lately but have been lurking as best I can.

I got final word that I have been laid off today. I knew this was coming, but I work with people that I have known and been close to for over four years - so it was still difficult. No ~ma requests as of yet, but I am sure to ask for them soon enough.

I just wanted to let anyone who had my old e-mail know that it has changed. My profile is updated.

This change has finally motivated me to get a computer and interbunny connection at home, so this doesn't mean I'll be unconnected from the wonderful Buffistas.

Our wings are not tired

I'm going to be varying shades of gray this week. I'm at a theatre conference in Long Beach until Saturday. I'm sure I'll be posting here and there, but very inconsistent. Feel free to email or IM though, or look for me in Long Beach bars.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I'm going to be in New York this weekend! Visiting a friend from school, so I don't know how much free time I'll have, but we're going to try to see Wicked Saturday afternoon, and I might be able to hang out with NYCistas that night or Sunday morning.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Going grey through Monday as I head off to Austin, TX for the SXSW music festival.

'Til we dance away...

I finished my last final an hour ago, making me officially a college graduate. Let the celebration begin!

On a related note, I'm not searching for jobma yet, but I would like a little direction so I can figure out what to do with my shiny new degree.
