I have been impressed by the efficacy of Buffista-ma, and I'd like to ask for some surgery-ma for tomorrow. The surgery is at 2 (Eastern time) and I may or may not have to stay overnight. A few vibes for being able to come home -- I believe that hospitals are evil, dangerous places -- would be good too, plus perhaps a dash of recovery-ma and coping-ma.

I am on my way to Virginia and lots of family time. May be pretty gray. Have a great week, all!
I've got my first grad school final at 12:30 today. Any exam-ma would be greatly appreciated.
And whatever ma could be spared toward my finishing this hellish semester in some decent shape would also be appreciated. I just need it for the next week!
Oh my doG.
I can't even find the words for how surprised I am. The Buffistas are truly the best. I received a box today with a bottle of 10 year old scotch, a really cool CD made by Hec (I'm listening to it right now) and A UTILIKILT! Most importantly it contained more love than I could imagine. I can't believe that you guys did this for me!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I owe each and every one of you a big wet sloppy kiss on the lips!
I'm crying now.
Thank you, so much!
PSA: EVEN THOUGH I AM ON CRUTCHES, I AM STILL PRETTY. "FYI."
Thanks for the good vibes. I did get to come home last night. The doctor called this morning to check on me and said that the nurses had been surprised that I was going home, because they'd never seen anyone go home the same day from this surgery. The doctor said he told them, "She's a unique individual, and she wants to go home." I seem to be feeling pretty good today, but that may be the percocet talking.
Car-ma, please. Going around a curve in the snow last night, my two month old car slid and hit a curb, breaking a tie rod (the part that attaches the wheel to the axel). Then, while waiting for the police/tow truck, someone coming around the same curve, slid and hit my car. Looked to be fairly minor damage, but I couldn't really see because of the snow.
I had to leave the car pushed up on the grass because I couldn't get a tow truck because of the snow. So, now I get to deal with this today instead of Christmas shopping.
Everyone is okay, but argh!!
Not sure where else to put this:
erinaceous, I tried emailing you back regarding ginger cakey goodness, but for some reason, my server is bouncing all attempts back at me. Have you got another email addy?
Thanks. Back to your regularly scheduled programming...
Just got home to an email from one of my oldest and dearest friends.
Her Hodkin's might be back less than a year later. There is a lot of testing to be done next (this) week.
Fingers crossed, ma and vibes seriously welcome that the swelling is an infection between her lungs instead.
I'm going to go have a good cry I think.
