Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Fay, talking about her role in World Events, from Beep Me:

So we had a Coup D'Etat.

Now tagless for your comfort.

And the finish is even better:

so I reckon it's going to be fine. So, er, don't freak out.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If you're gonna include those, you need this too:

Yesterday there was no school, because of the revolution

What is even happening?

shrift is going to kick our asses. Here's the whole post.

Fay: So we had a Coup D'Etat.

But so far, everything's okay. Yesterday there was no school, because of the revolution, but today we're back at work and it seems to be pretty calm and the king supports the new guys, and EVERYONE adores the king, so I reckon it's going to be fine. So, er, don't freak out.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Matt the Bruins fan:

I theoretically love the idea of a film about ace pilots in the Great War, but from the look of the trailer, with planes flying through exploding zeppelins and all, I'm afraid they're going to feature Manfred von Richthofen as a famous German ace before America even officially entered the war, and have James Franco's non-Australian character be the one who kills him against all odds after a heroic hours-long dogfight. By jumping into his plane in midair and punching him to death.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Fay, reflecting on her classmates at university:

I was at university with the current Maximilian Von Hapsburg. Whose chosen area of study was...the Hapsburg empire. And yes, he did have The Chin. How his tutors had the nerve to mark his essays I really don't know...I mean, dude, it's his great uncle whojamaflip. How you going to argue with that kind of citation?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

In Natter:

Tom Scola:
A coworker just walked by and complained that it smells like death near my cube.

Lee:
See, I would have just wanted to tell him. "Yes, it is death. Better flee while you can, and not come back."

There's a slight chance I'm anti-social, isn't there?

Frankenbuddha:
Nah, but then again I'd have said somehthing along the lines of "Thanks, I'll make sure to hide the next body somewhere else" and given a Wednesday Addams smile.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Matt, I gotta have the whole "cubicle smells like death" exchange:

Tom Scola: A coworker just walked by and complained that it smells like death near my cube.

ita: Death, or decay? If death, black? He needs to be specific.

Gudanov: Why is Dick Cheney next to your cube?

Frankenbuddha: Right, like does it smell a little like death or a lot like death. If a lot, what's his basis for comparison.

Lee: See, I would have just wanted to tell him. "Yes, it is death. Better flee while you can, and not come back."

There's a slight chance I'm anti-social, isn't there?

Frankenbuddha: Nah, but then again I'd have said somehthing along the lines of "Thanks, I'll make sure to hide the next body somewhere else" and given a Wednesday Addams smile.

Strega: I'd go with, "Oh sorry, that's probably my soul."
