I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Cindy, in Buffy, on her art:

Bug killing is my art. I make it with your hands, day after day - at least in the summer. That final gasp. That look of peace. Part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the stomp I didn't make with my sandal, or the fly swatter swats that didn't land. Every bug... has a death wish.

Even ants.

The only reason you haven't tried it is you've got a paralegal to do it for you. You've got seniority, precedent and habeas corpus, your books, your LSAT scores, your student loans. They all tie you here but you're just putting off the inevitable.

Sooner or later, you're gonna want to kill a bug. And the second- the second- that happens... You know I'll be there. I'll slip in... have myself a real good mock.

Here endeth the lesson. I just wonder if you'll like it as much as she did. (erm... whomever she is)

dons her duster and prances away like a magnificent poof

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

You get the picture. My oldest is Literal!Boy. That song freaked him right the hell out. We had to make up an ending.

Oh, my god, that's really funny.

Trudy Booth: it's called a "Traffic Circle" and is colloquially shortened to "Circle".
Am-Chau Yarkona: It's a roundabout. Really. When will you people learn?
Dana: Probably around the time we break out from under the tyranny of your country! Oh, wait, that already happened.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

hayden, in Buffy 2: Hey, I've Died Twice (NAFDA)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

DX, we did the brain-share again. Only a little one, I think.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Anne W.:

Rotary. That's what my Nana calls it, and I dare anyone to tell her she's wrong.

Nana's method of correcting my mother's driving. At stop sign, push down on daughter's leg, thereby causing her foot to go down on the accelerator, which of course launches the car into the middle of the intersection. Quoth Nana: "You got to get your nose out there."

Nana is one of the drivers that makes Boston such a happy fun traffic place.

Billytea, in Natter. My paraphase for context in square brackets, and there may be a better way:

[My older brother] drives like greased lightning, in that he travels much too fast and keeps hitting trees.
