Spike: Or maybe Captain Forehead was feeling a little less special. Didn't like me crashing his exclusive club, another vampire with a soul in the world. Angel: You're not in the world, Casper.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Sue reveals her forbidden feelings re musicals:

I was scarred by having to stage manage "She Loves Me" in theatre school. I sat through something like 30 performances of the stupidest song in the world "Where's my Shoe?" Before every single one of them I wanted to leap from the SM booth to my death. Only the light guy kept me alive.

hip deep in pie

Actually "She Loves Me" isn't Sondheim, it's Kander & Ebb. It just scarred me for musicals generally.

I'll change that to 're musicals' then.

Swouncing

Betsy in Natter:

I say "My computer hates me", but then again I also say "The universe hates me" and "God hates me". As far as I am concerned, everything that is not me is in a conspiracy, and I want it to STOP.

Or maybe I'm overreacting.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

From The Jossverse in Other Media

Mejia: I just want to point out that Buffy #52 came out last week. It has the absolute worst Buffy cover ever, and it may even contend for worst cover of all time. It can be seen here.

ita: My god. That's like an execrable photomanip for a story in which Buffy has been possessed by a mighty tooth demon, and fell head first into a drag queen ostrich's ass.

Nobody

Have to natter here, just to say - aside from the comm-able comments on that cover being very comm-able, that truly is the worst cover of anything. Ever.

If I only had a brain...

ita, in Precious:

Can I just say that Balin was dumb? I don't care how guttural your language is. You don't move into a place called Khazad Dûm.

It's not going to go well.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Knut, in Bureaucracy:

"Dear James Cameron:

Your login name is very similar to that of a person who directed Terminator, Aliens, and True Lies, and who said a lot of nasty things about Kate Winslet. If you are not this James Cameron, please choose another login name, as we wish to avoid confusion. If you are James Cameron, we will require some proof, and suggest that you don a flame-proof suit.

Sincerely,

The Buffistas"
