All Ogle, No Cash -- It's Not Just Annoying, It's Un-American
Discussion of episodes currently airing in Un-American locations (anything that's aired in Australia is fair game), as well as anything else the Un-Americans feel like talking about or we feel like asking them. Please use the show discussion threads for any current-season discussion.

Thanks, Fay.
My last sentence (even though it was written in ignorance) is still correct: most of Israeli pizzas are vegetarian, none are vegan.
Now you know way more incorrect information about a non-local food than you probably ever wanted to know...
American Robins are different? Coo. We had a robin in our garden last winter. Penny was terribly excited about it, and gushed. It seems our cat overheard, because she left the robin next to her food bowl the next morning as a present for P....
That's so kind of your cat. And think, in the long run, the robins will get smarter!
The American one is bigger and showier, but the English one is cuter. And more nostalgia-inspiring. I'm not sure about the redness of the breast from this picture, though.

....er, or possibly you meant this kind of American Robin
Now I have Friar Tuck/Batman slash.
Oh dear lord.
Why, bless you, young Fay. I was about to say I only knew the English robin (had no idea there was a difference), but you've boiled the distinction right down to the essential.
And yes, the English one rocks harder.
In Ontario they have both red and grey squirrels (we only have the red ones here on the bleak shores of Nova Scotia), and I discovered that despite the size difference, the grey squirrels would run away from the red squirrels when it came to a confrontation. Aggressive little buggers, they are.

I'm really lucky I'm alone in the house right now, because I can't stop laughing.
The squirrels in Dallas were brown. In New York, they're gray. I think the tails are a bit different also, but I don't really remember.
The one that bothers me is the honeysuckle. The honeysuckle here (NY) looks the same, but is dry and bitter, and when I mentioned it my in-laws thought I was crazy and DH wanted to know if I was poisoning his children. What good is honeysuckle you can't suck?
