Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Happy Birthday, Feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Thanks everyone! I wasn't online much yesterday but woke up to your wishes this morning, and to SNOW! In October? So it must be a special year.

Apparently - as my father reminds me every year - the first snow fell in Colorado forty-hmmmmm years ago on the day I was born.

Ann, that's a ferret.

News about the "other" Fiona that joined in the birthday wishes. She was adopted yesterday.

I guess birthday wishes are lucky!

The new series of Misfits started last night. Haven't watched it yet though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Happy Belated Birthday Fiona!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a question. I just fell for an artist, and although I have a couple methods to grab his song, I would like him to get my buck fifty or whatever for this STUPID SONG. It's for sale in iTunes Germany, which doesn't like my current email address--I haven't worked what I'd need to sign up for Germany, but address probably among those things.

Going to the Amazon link does give me what *looks* like a couple versions of the track for sale in foreign for just shy of two Euros. But I have Amazon issues.

Does anyone on this thread have a German iTunes account? Can I get one remotely? If not, could you buy me the stupid single and send me the file?

Way too complicated for Tuesday.

I do, ita, and I'm happy to help. Will I be able to email you the file if I buy it over iTunes? I'm a bit of an iTunes novice myself, I think I've bought a total of 4 things there so far.

Also, just to clarify: the album is "Matter Fixed", and the single you want is "New Age"; is that right?
