Obviously he was going to be in the graveyard, but I realise I've been imprinted by Leverage, and was expecting to see him in Sophie's rad coat from her funeral.
I found that while I thought he was really dead, I wasn't sad about it. But by the time I'd decided he was not, and John made his speech and did that stiff military style walk/limp away from his headstone, it was a bit sniffle-making.
