EXCEPTIONALLY spoilery (for the finale of UK Being Human series 3) interview [link] with Toby Whithouse, Being Human creator. Who is an amusing interviewee.
Beyond that, I shall reflect on the ep tomorrow, on account of how I'm still unable to speak, twenty minutes after the end of the episode.
I decided to be spoiled before seeing the episode but it ended up having no diminishing effect on the experience at all. You can say, oh okay, that's going to happen...but then seeing it just...well.
Wow.
Such good television.
Indeed. I watched the last two episodes together last night. Oh, my.
I mean, it wasn't entirely unexpected, what with Aidan being in New Zealand for the next couple of years, but still.
But I'm still sceptical that that's it, mostly because of Herrick's loaded comment that "there's no way you could come back from a staking"; sounds like protesting too much to me. And also because I don't want to believe that we won't see Mitchell again.
Looking forward to the new Big Bad though, because I really like the actor (Lee Ingleby, aka Sam's Dad in Life on Mars).
Oh, that's where I've seen him before! Of course.
It would be nice if they'd bring him back, if only for a final episode or something. I love the way this season has built on his character and played with the idea of consequences. Unfortunately, it was interrupted, for me, by the fact that I simply did not believe the Annie/Mitchell relationship. His "You were the love of my long life" at the end made me go "Not likely." Otherwise, I have no complaints. That was a superb season with a fantastic ending.
Interesting. Does he have a soul?
Finally watched the last BH. I'm sorry, but that just dragged on and on! Whining & crying & whining & crying. I thought it could have been half as long.
Twitter tells me that Robert Sheehan is not returning for Series 3 of Misfits. That makes me all kinds of sad.
Noooooooooo! And coming on top of Aidan Turner leaving Being Human too. What is it with the curly-haired, annoying, talented, sexy Irishmen?
Oh, that's right, they're too talented and sexy for humble telly.
