"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh, I can't take Wagner though. Why do you like him?

My favorite is Mary. I love her to death. Rebecca's voice I like, but her stage presence needs to improve.

Why do you like him?

Because he's the most entertaining thing there. This article articulates my feeling on Wagner pretty welll - [link]

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Question for Fiona and/or other German-gebildet folks: when you think of the reunification (East and West Germany), what kind of known pictures/images comes to mind?

(Links would be very good).

Thank you!

Shir, if you enter "German Unification Brandenburg Gate" in Google Images you get a lot of the pictures which spring to mind instantly for me. There are the shots of fireworks behind the gate or the wall coming down with East German soldiers standing behind it.

Gosh, twenty years....

Swouncing

Oh, back to civilization and the world that sometimes-when-there-are-no-malfunctions has internet-connection and can-communicate-with-the-actual-world!

And just in time, board-time (though not her time, sadly) to slide through and wish Fiona a happy birthday (or, her time, second-day-of-her-new-age), and a wonderful year!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Happy Birthday, Fee!!!!
