Stealth bondage!
I want this!
ita, my dear, I think you misunderstand the point of bondage.
Now, stealth kidnapping, that I may be able to get behind. Theoretically.
Not sure if this could come in handy, but I also found a reference to stainless steel velcro.
Just going back to the Wombles for a moment: was the video of the original 1970's Wombles, or the new 1990's Wombles? The new version lacks that certain something that made the original version cool.

No, not really. I figure, hypothetically, that one might want to be restrained in public, without concerning said publc.
Stainless steel could also be an asset.

70s Wombles.
edit: No wait. This might be 90s Wombles. It's animated puppettoon stuff. I thought the Wombles were guys in Womble suits.

Look, if I have to restrain you, you are going to be embarrassed by all the noise it would take to get out. IJS.

Both series' were animated. The 1990's series was made in Canada, with Canadian-accented voices/narration, while the 1970's series was made in England, with Bernard Cribbens doing all the voices/narration. Also, the Canadian series features about 12 Womble characters, while the UK series only has 7.
The guys in suits were just for things like promotion of the albums etc..
/me realises that he knows way too much about such things...

No, that was just Mike Batt and the music. The Wombles series was the animated pupettoon stuff. Voiced by Bernard Cribbins, as I recall.
Edit: X-post with jimi. If you know too much about this stuff, then so do I....
