S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yeah, it's all Episcopalians and Catholics here.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Fay, the problem is that I'm qualified as Montessori teacher, which is a relatively small corner of the world. There's a line in the ad about a flat being available, but I don't know many details.

Ah, I see. Hmm. If they provide accommodation, that will make a HUGE difference - accomodation is hellishly expensive in London, even greater London. And it is do-able to live on 16k even without accommodation provided - plenty of people do it. Just be aware that it will mean careful budgeting.

Debet, you may want to ignore the bit in my e-mail which sums up my impression of the Montessori method, since you clearly know far more than I do.

When you know more about what the accomodation situation might be, I'm quite willing to do some research on that front-- if it's fairly local, and to be practical I guess it should be, I may well know the place or at least the area. As Fay says, them providing a flat would improve matters for you a lot.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It would be to rent, but I do not know if it would be discounted, or what. I think I'm going to try to leave it be until I hear back from the school

Thanks, guys.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I haven't sat down to do the math yet, but London is definitely on my wishlist.

Now that I have a slightly clearer idea of what I'll be doing next vis a vis jobs, I reckon I should be back in the UK in July - may be in Thailand in August, possibly, and may be in Egypt in June, possibly. Hope that we might be able to muster a mini F2F in London - that would be fab.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Even if not, have you ever checked a map of the region? Thailand's pretty damn close to Australia. Yup, pretty damn close. How close, you ask? Well, it looks like I can get a return flight for under a grand, or alternatively I can use 36,000 Qantas frequent flyer points to halve that. Oh, look at that! I currently have over 36,000 frequent flyer points! What could I use them on?

move out and draw fire

I was going to advertise Thailand's proximity to Australia to help Fay make a decision, but it seemed presumptious. But yes! You guys could fight crime!

Heh. Yes, I had indeed recognised that Thailand is a damned sight closer to Australia than I am at present. Buffista F2F in Bangkok? I understand that one night there will make the tough guys crumble - we could fight crime and dodge pingpong balls?

Or would it be wiser to mention the tigers and elephants and bears, oh my? And the barking deer, mouse deer, pangolin, dugongs etc etc?
