Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Insent to Fi and Cass.

Okay, Fiona, it's up.

1. "You Showed Me" - The Byrds. Very early. They sound rather gloriously Merseybeat here.

2. "Desert Inn" - Ian Mathews. Fantastic guitar on this by RT.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I think I need a cost-benefit analysis for my Future. I'm trying to decide whether to do a one-year work stint in New Zealand, or an eight-month work stint in Britain and Ireland. Both of these will probably be followed up with a four-month stint in Australia. It's just so hard to choose! I like all of these countries!

edited because future really needs a capital F.

Do Britain and Ireland, because you can visit New Zealand when you're in Australia, AND because you can always get a work permit in New Zealand some other time before you're 30, but getting one in GB is way way harder.

You can? Cool. I'll totally do B/I then. Thanks for the advice.

Definitely Britain and Ireland.

I have to come up with a logical, altruistic reason? Crap.

Um, fewer gigantormous insects.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Um, fewer gigantormous insects.

True, though more venomous snakes, and fewer parrots. And penguins! But less boiling mud, which has to count for something.

Actually, I'm voting for UK/Ireland too, because I haven't been to NZ yet, and I vaguely feel I should get there before you.
