I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

What is even happening?

Fay and Fiona, best thoughts for your friends, and for your peace of mind.

I think bad news generally travels faster than good news, Fay. If anything was up, I'm sure you'd know by now.
That's what I've been thinking, Jars. The people who hear the good news stop worrying, so the information slows down, as it's no longer fueled by concern.

But now we're getting closer to my due date (I'm 33 weeks now), my status is becoming rather more critical again. So in about 2 weeks I'll be going back to hospital for more bedrest and checks. Right now it's a matter of getting through the next few weeks without another bleed, though my OB thinks going straight away would be unwarranted, hence the waiting two weeks. I'm grateful for this, because it means I can enjoy my last few days alone with B. and get things ready for our new family member.

At about 38 weeks at the latest, provided I haven't have the Big Bad Bleed, they'll do an elective c-section.

I hope you pass the time easily and quickly, Fiona. And, what Plei said wrt drinking as much water as possible, and an addition of, when you can lie down, do. When you can't lie down, sit. When you can't sit, sit anyhow.

What does B think about becoming a big brother?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck (without blood), Fiona!

Well, we've reactivated our WiFi and my old laptop, so I'm back to surfing in bed again.

What does B think about becoming a big brother?

So far he's been extremely positive. He is fascinated by our friends' babies, and makes a big deal of cuddling and kissing my belly. It's very sweet. Of course, we don't necessarily expect it to last, but it bodes well for now.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Best of luck, Fiona! You'll be in my thoughts.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

All good thoughts, Fiona!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I haven't even seen a picture of it, and Benno just broke me with his sweetness.

All good thoughts and wishes to you and B and DH and the wee one and everyone who's watching over and monitoring you through these last few weeks, Fiona.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Awww. That is so sweet. My older nephew was like this when his Mom was pregnant and so far, six months later, it has lasted with only the most minor of jealousy. The funniest one was when he complained that there were too many baby bottles in the fridge and there wasn't enough room for his bottled water and soda. I am sure Benno will be a great big brother.

Much ~ma to you and the baby, Fiona.
