When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The guy from England I worked with in Philly, and his wife, just got in touch. They're ok, thankfully.

Glad to see you safe, Jim.

In happier news Veronica Mars is going to air in the UK as is Alyson Hannigan's new sitcom, "How I Met Your Mother."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, my God! I just turned on the computer at work and found out about the bombings. I'm really appalled, and hope any UKistas families and friends are ok.

I lived in London for 6 months, and feel very warm and friendly towards it. I'm just horrified.

This isn't a cause for huge panic. London is reasonably used to this kind of thing, and the scale of it seems (thankfully) manageable. Not that it's not pretty bloody awful, but it won't be a nation-changing event a la 9/11.
