Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Damn, puns are pervasive.

I read that as "a basic telnet of your religion".

Plasmo! Welcome back! How was NZ? I'm having a party on Sat. night...want to come? E-mail me at angus@angusgordon.com and I'll send you an invite.

t edit Welcome back billytea as well!

Also, anyone else is welcome to come to my party, if you want to fly to Melbourne for the weekend.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

plasmo - you were in NZ? I visited there May before last. (I was going to say "spring" but then I realized that would be ambiguous.) My brother and I were visiting his girlfriend, who has been playing in a percussion ensemble based in Wellington.

Did you have a good trip? I loved NZ, and wish we could have stayed longer.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Welcome back billytea as well!

Well, thank you. On the down side, I'm afraid it's left me with insufficient leave or funds to attend your party. I trust this won't overly handicap the festivities.

Welcome back Billytea :)

Oooh, NZ was lovely! I'd never visited the North Island before. There were plenty of alternative fashion stores, record shops, and cute bars in Auckland.

Ouise, I haven't made it to Wellington. I hear the best in NZ music and fashion is there? I love the South Island too.

Kayaked for three days in the Bay of Islands. Dolphins, mangroves, phosphorescent water at night, mosquitos the size of big daddy-long-legs! Being in the middle of nowhere and meeting artists who crack open the champagne in honour of company. Was a great holiday. I think I lost weight :o

Thanks for the offer Angus, sounds good. email pending. :)

I'd like to visit NZ. Haven't done so yet. (Incidentally, while at the SD Zoo I saw this book, Hotspots, which covers as it puts it the Earth's biologically richest and most endangered terrestrial ecoregions. New Zealand was one of them.)

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Plus, New Zealand has kakapos.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The Eskimo likes kakapos?

I just like saying that out loud

The bad guys use PCs, Jim, have we learned nothing from 24?

Nice to have you back, Plasmo.

Thanks John. Do you take leave this week for the big day or are you working through like a trooper?
