Once he starts spitting up, make sure to clean behind his ears frequently (a damp cloth or a tissue with a little unscented hand lotion will do) to remove crud build-up from his earfolds before it gets nasty.

They warn you about all the little areas in the neck and chin, but never about the ears, for some reason.
