Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

CE was light in The Second Coming. Well, in the early part; once you get towards Easter it got a bit less cheery, natch.

CE was light in The Second Coming.

I didn't see that.

Nice CE interview in the Observer last week. I can't really imagine Eddie Izzard as the Doctor, but Bill Nighy would have been interesting, if they wanted to go older again.

I dunno - much as I love Nighy, I'm thrilled that they didn't go for another old ham. It's a short hop from Nighy to REG, and that would cause civil war.

CE is a great, great actor. I've said it here before, but his exit from Cracker is bar none the most electrifying piece of TV I've ever seen.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

OK, bar possibly the sopranos episode Long Term Parking.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

To be fair, jimi, it took me a while to twig.

When the anvil dropped I gave myself a concussion and whiplash slapping my forehead.

We're getting season two of BSG this summer.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I'm guessing that BSG will work the way SG-1 has--it'll start showing in the US first, then the UK will start the season during the US' midseason break and will end up getting to the finale a few weeks ahead of the US.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Just caught up with the Dr Who: A New Dimension documentary. Wow, there are some great episodes to look forward to in this new series.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

CE was light in The Second Coming.

I didn't see that.

But I did, and I had entirely failed to remember it at all. Interesting comparision of roles-- one could style them as a pair of eagerly awaited returns. ;)
