I find that my skin was clearer when I could bathe.
I hate showers. If I had to choose, it would be bath all the way.

I wouldn't know about that--I always wash my face in the sink anyway, and the one thing that correlates with perfectly clear skin for me is if I eschew dairy products altogether. Right now my chin is reminding me how little willpower I've shown in the presence of cheese and ice cream lately.
But that soap scummy feeling! And no convenient way to wash your hair!
I still have no idea what the proper way to wash your hair in a bathtub is. I kept a plastic cup for rinsing, but that can't be the standard normal English rinsing technique.
I have no particularly interesting shower stories, but in Ukraine my parents' shower is heated by gas, so you have to go in the kitchen with a match before taking a hot shower.
I sometimes take a shower after finishing a bath, because of that soap scummy feeling Susan mentioned.
I cultured bathwater in lab once. Ickiness abounded.

No need. Mr Bubble was the bain of my childhood. But that's not been a problem since I ditched the crap bubble bath products.
I don't like baths. I never could have bubble baths when I was a kid either. I like showers, they are more relaxing than baths, plus by the time the tub fills up I'm bored with the idea of a bath.
Plus baths remind one of the unfortunate aspects of entropy as they quickly end up room temperature.
In fact I sometimes have a shower before I get into the bath, if I'm feeling especially grubby.
I think the japanese always wash before using the soaking tub.
Our master bathroom doesn't have a tub. this makes me sad. Now I have to take my mondo baths in the children's bathroom.
