I know the feeling, Jars. They are getting better, gradually, at letting people share stuff, but there's a whole lot they stole and aren't giving back. It's all still quite pretty. (Though some specific cases, where-- for example-- I have to study the damn things on my Classical Civilisations course, I'd be very happy if they'd send them back home, because then I'd have an (half-arsed sort-of) excuse for not knowing anything about them.)

Jars, are you free for dinner on the 7th? That might be a little more feasible for me.
I'm really not, I'm afraid. I'm going to a Beastie Boys gig that night.
It seems that the Fates are conspiring against us.
Not necessarily. I'm just feeling things out. :)
Hey Jars! High-flying lifestyle is sputtering along--just got tickets to LA next week, but still don't know when in December I'm going to London!!
So, what have we got so far? Well:
Channel 9 just advertised that they start screening Joan of Arcadia next week.
Meanwhile, Channel 7 have just advertised that they start screening Desperate Housewives in 2005.
I have the oddest feeling that we might get Wonderfalls after all, though it will probably be shown at the same time as Firefly.
That would be so cruel.
I am sure that you are right.
Meara, London in December? Well, damn. I'll be in Scotland from the 20th onward. It'll suck if I miss you.
Jars, yeah, it looked like the cheapest and best flights sent me out the morning of the 8th, so unfortunately I won't be able to meet up with you. Too bad.
If you like you could e-mail me your mobile number? And then if my friend has anything social scheduled we could meet up? We usually go out dancing at some point when we're together.
I'll get one over on those darned Fates yet, dammit.
No problem. I'll need to know relatively soon, though, so I can book my train tickets to London.
