Though, I must confess, I kinda rolled my eyes when I saw it was another lead character turning into the 'big bad'.
Spoiler font:
considers not saying anything. giggles wildly. having seen penultimate episode, thinks will enjoy seeing jimi's reaction to it. has lost pronouns. also capital letters. giggles some more.
Someone on aus.tv.buffy mentioned the show
Miss Match
and called it "Charisma Carpenter's new show". That's not entirely accurate but IMDb does list four appearances as "Serena Lockner".
Miss Match
precedes
Tru Calling
on Friday night and Charisma's first appearance is in episode 3.
I'm putting this here, so very few people will see it and so I won't have to go into protective custody.
Has Orlando Bloom put on a bit of weight, or what?
back space out the file name to see more pics :)
Unfortunately I managed to miss last week's episode though, so I have no idea why she is an ancient evil demon thingy.
I also missed last week's episode (not to mention the premiere of 'Oz' this week). I'm not overly fussed, though because I'll get it all on DVD.
Aw, but it was a really, really, really awesome episode.

Yeah. I guess it's kind of a fine line between 'revisiting themes and plot points to create resonance' and 'ripping off your own old ideas'. I'll wait and see how the rest of the season plays out, though. Sob! Only 6 more to go!
ETA: For some reason those pics take me to a Spirited Away place.
The lead character turned into a corpse, not a 'big bad.' I think it'd have been ballsy to can the actor at the same time, but still. The character bit it.
hey Kate P! :D
Will be watching Eliza's new one with baited breath.

You might want to unbait that breath and lower your expectations.
Yes, lower your expectations -- that's the best way to watch Tru Calling.
