Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Franz Ferdinand. If they haven't crossed the pond yet, they're awesome - imagine all those 1981 Glasgow bands like Orange Juice and Josepf K and (yeah) the Fire Engines, with a lot of Wire-y Art-punk, lashed together with Jarvis Cocker's way with a classic song. And they're in the fucking top 5! Angular, dancey, arty - they're the best new guitar band I've heard in about 5 years.

I need to own this, I think.

Congratulations on your marriage, Jim. I hope you honeymooned in some very exotic outer suburb of London or perhaps even a warmer clime.

If I only had a brain...

May you have many, many happy years together.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Congratulations, Jim, and good luck.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Thanks all - and I holidayed in Mali, managing to avoid Damon Albarn, which was lovely.

I need to own this, I think

You really, really do.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Hey, congratulations, Jim! Why did you pick Mali? What was it like? It's a rather unusual honeymoon destination.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Interested here, too!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Congratulations Jim!
