You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

Are you ready to be strong?

Does no one know the answer to my Scots question?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Does no one know the answer to my Scots question?

I cannot speak for the Scots, but it seems to me I've heard them speak of "uni" also. It being a UK-ism.

I have friends in Scottish universities who call university "uni", but none of them are actually Scottish. Unhelpful, I know.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is the kind of thinking that has lead to Jamaica being the leading industrial force which it is today.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Didn't you see that picture of the electrified zones of the world taken from outer space? There's a thin ring of civilization on the outer edge of Australia and a vast wasteland in the middle. Which contains their capitol, I think.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

There's a thin ring of civilization on the outer edge of Australia and a vast wasteland in the middle.

It's like Canada, but upside down.

It's like the US as drawn by New Yorkers!

Rio, "uni" for university is pretty, um, universal British slang, so that would include the Scots.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Question: Do Scots say "uni" for university?

Only since Neighbours. It's an aussieism that has now passed into the real language.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

Australia for Beginners: Australia consists of the convict settlement of Sydney Town, which has the Bridge and the Opera House. Offshore is the Barrier Reef

To the west of Sidney Town are mountains. There is rumored to be a vast uninhabited region known as the Hay Plain on the other side of the mountains, but noöne in Cidknee Town has ever seen it. It may be a myth
